Seed App app for iPhone and iPad

Seed features:

-The "Info-Stream" is a newsfeed for users working within the same school. The stream allows users to post any type of announcement they would like their entire school to see. The stream seamlessly links with Seeds calendar allowing users to have their posts also appear in the calendar at the date and time they choose.

-"Messages" allows users to send email-like messages to other staff members. They can send a message to individual users or send to users of a certain grade level, subject area or all three. Messages appear in conversation style so multiple users can interact at once. Messages is great for specific subject areas or grades to collaborate on one easy to read feed.

-"Chat" allows users to easily connect with any of their co-workers instantly. When users sign up for the app and choose their school they automatically become contacts. Within chat you can choose any of your contacts and instantly begin chatting with them, no need for their phone number.

-"Bulletin Board" is Seeds explore feature. The Bulletin Board connects all users on the Seed app nationwide. It allows users to post links to plans, videos, articles, ideas, and anything else they think might be useful to the educational community. It connects users with other educators outside of their own school and across the country. You can search the board for subjects that interest you, follow a user if you like their content and instantly chat with educators across the country!

Other helpful features for Educators:

-On Seeds private in-school profile you can enter in your daily schedule, store pictures, and display you Info-Stream and Bulletin Board posts for users within your own school to see. This content is not viewable by users outside of your own school.

-On Seeds public profile users from across the country can see your Bulletin Board posts, and hit the chat icon to instantly chat with you. The more users post useful content on the Bulletin Board the more connections they can make and the more educators can educate each other!

-The calendar allows users to keep a private calendar, add events to their specific schools public calendar, and view a combo calendar that includes all events both public and private. Events can be placed in the calendar from any Info-Stream post made.
